Janice Marie Carter

Janice Marie Carter, Age 72, of Pittsburgh, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Born Janice Marie Bonner on September 14, 1946. Wife of the late Charles Carter; Loving mother of Evelyn Hamlett, Lawrence Page, Charlene Page and the late Maurice Bonner, William Lamont Page and Robert Lee Page; Grandma of Tawnya, Christopher, Joshua, Demetrius and Tyreesha; Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; Daughter of the late Mildred Lee (Wilson) Bonner and Charles Henry Bonner, Sr.; Sister of Charles Henry (JoAnn) Bonner, Jr, Gloria “Goldie” Ware, Mildred “Millie” Winsor, Suezanne “Toni” Dorsey, William “Skip” (Cecilia) Bonner, Sylvia “Bonnie” (Steven) Abbett, Yvonne (Dennis) Pressley and the late Charlene Bonner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Janice grew up in Wilkinsburg and Verona. After many years in the healthcare field, she transferred over to retail. Spent 14 years in Georgia before coming back to Pittsburgh to retire. She spent her time volunteering at two Senior Centers and was an active member of Pneuma Worship Center, McKees Rocks.
