Edwin F. Ayres

Edwin F. Ayres, age 65 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on November 26, 2017. Born on February 2, 1952, he was the son of the late Florence Weimerskirch Ayres and Edwin A. Ayres. Loving brother of Mark (Phyllis) Ayres of California and Timothy Ayres of Finleyville, PA. Dear sister-in-law to Marian Ayres of Lawrence, PA. Loving uncle to Heather and Matthew Ayres, Steven, Mark, and Luke Ayres and Danielle Grentz. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Mary Ann Welsh and Germaine Ayres.

Edwin proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. and he worked as a machinist at Whemco. Recently, Edwin enjoyed working for the Veterans Association as a veteran caretaker. He was a member of the Owl’s Club where he enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
