Dr. Louis D. Meta,

Age 70, of Peters Township, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he is the son of the late Pasqualeand Elena Meta. Dear husband of Sylvia Meta; loving father of Dr. David Meta and Christopherand his wife, Rachel Meta; brother of Robert Meta; and proud “PapaLou” to granddaughters, Kathryn and Justine Meta. A wonderful doctor, teacher, husband and father, he made the lives richer of all who knew him.

I worked with Dr. Meta at McKeesport Hospital on the oncology floor. He was a very exceptional person. Dr. Meta was my oncologist when I had breast cancer in 2004. I am so sorry to hear of his death. He will be missed.
