I go back a little further--------I'm officially old. Yet I remember Tom. Fer crissakes how does one not? He had the sweet swing & the fluid motion on the ball field. And the pretty arc-----the tight spiral-----when he hurled the pigskin. Behind Mellon School there was a magical place. We simply labeled it "The Field". Legends grew there. With names long gone. "Bugsy", "Mr Chips", "Eagle", "Sabs," & "Stormin Norman"------hmm, "Trickey Ricky"? Tom Brown? Now that's a name. Easy to remember. Hard to forget. Can we ever play catch again? Paul Morrison

To the Browns, What a blessing to have such an amazing man in your lives for the time you had him. I didn't know him for a long time, but he welcomed me and others into his home immediately and treated us all like family. I feel blessed to have spent any time with him. He was a great role model to me of what a good father and husband looks like. I will keep him in my thoughts and memories
