Sam Bain (96) of Freedom, PA, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully in his home the morning of April 29th, 2024 with his wife Rose at his side.
Beloved husband of Rose (Bombardo) for 71 yrs. Loving Father of the late Mark Bain (Jane), Keith Bain (Judy), Jeff Bain (Sandy), Terese Kehoe (Mark) & Sam R. Bain (Jessica). Devoted grandfather of Paul and Gary Bain (Mark & Jane), Brad & Ryan Bain (Keith & Judy) and Vincenzo & Rocco Bain (Sam R. Bain).
Sam was a WW2 Navy veteran, an accountant for US Steel until his retirement in 1989 and served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Louise De Marillac church, as the treasurer for the Men’s Guild & Annual Fish Fry and volunteered for the weekly church bingo and many other church functions. He enjoyed playing cards with his fellow Guild members, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, reading and his end of the day bourbon on the rocks.
