Robert Bernard Smith

 age 82 of Addison, Pennsylvania formerly of Saugus and Malden, Massachusetts passed away on January 1, 2013. “A man of Irish birth who was always there for his mates.” Robert was born on August 24, 1930 in Melrose, Massachusetts, he is the son of the late Peter Smith and Mary Hedrington.  He is the loving father of Valerie Lynn Ingersoll, Lorna Lee Davila, and Byron L. Smith.  Robert is the brother of James, Richard, Theresa, Mary, and Joseph.  He is the loving grandfather of Brandi Ingersoll Brothers, Adam Robert Davila, Leo Smith, Lincoln Smith, and Grant Smith and the great grandfather of Pierce Brothers.  Bob was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp for four years. He fought in the Korean War and was wounded twice in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir Campaign.
