They say that the most important thing on a tombstone is the dash between your birth and death. That tiny mark signifies your entire life. In L.J.’s case, this mark has it’s work cut out for it. He lived his life to the fullest.

This was a very kind, humorous, caring man that had a way of making everyone feel special and welcomed. He greeted everyone with a smile(and usually a joke). He knew no strangers.

My thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences are with the immediate and extended family as well as the many friends that share in this truly unfortunate loss. L.J. will be greatly missed and not forgotten.

Condolences. My heart is breaking. What a sad day. The happiest,… do anything for you,… man I ever met. John, I thank you, for all I learned from you. Mainly, to be able to laugh at my own mistakes, learn from them, and move on. And, Oh yes, they will make for a great story, of which, you were the master. I’m sure many of us know, you are at 119 degrees west looking down on us.

LJ- my friend, my brother, the world has become less interesting without you in it. You were my rock, and I could always count on you to help me through the tough times, no matter what. Words can’t express my appreciation for all you’ve done in my life. I’ll always have the image of you standing on the pitcher’s mound at PNC park throwing out the first pitch to me; even though you skipped it in (after practicing for hours).. you looked damn good doing it!

Until we meet again, I’ll take comfort in knowing that you’re resting in the arms of the lord. Love, Frank

To the Dingles: My deepest condolences, my prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can do.

  50. Michelle Nelson - Perfect 10 Satellite on March 15, 2018 at 9:51 am

I worked with LJ and his DIRECTV marketing here at Perfect 10 for years. One phone conversation I remember, midway through the conversation I started having hiccups. Which made him laugh, then me laugh and hiccup harder. He stopped and said, “Let me scare you” and proceeded to say “I needed to set up 20 DIRECTV events for him by the end of the day”. Didn’t work, just made me laugh and hiccup more. Still cracks me up thinking about it, mostly because both of us lost all professionalism for a few minutes.

LJ you will be missed. My deepest sympathy to your family.
