Janice M. Yurkovich, age 69, of Baldwin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Born on February 24, 1943, she is the daughter of the late James and Virginia (Graney) Laux. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Yurkovich; loving mother of Cindi Ann Yurkovich, Edward W. (Cynthia) Yurkovich, and William (Angela) Yurkovich; grandmother of Theodore, Timothy, Allie, Brett, Morgan, Eric, and Julia; and siser of Roy (Cindy) Laux, James (Jo Anne) Laux, Sandy (Richard) Ferrari, and the late Wayne Laux. Janice had a talent and passion for cooking. She will be remembered for her loving and generous spirit and will be dearly missed by her family and friends and especially her grandchildren, who she treasured every second spent them.

Friends and family are invited to visit together at St. Wendelin Catholic Church Chapel, 2728 Custer Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10:30 AM until time of Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made in Janice’s name to the American Cancer Society.
